You passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your intended departure date. If your passport is set to expire prior to mid December 2025 then you must renew it before traveling internationally.

You may choose to either fly into Lisbon or direct to Faro.

If flying to Lisbon, you will either need to rent a car and drive south or take public transit to get you there. For flying directly into Faro there are connecting options through Dublin or Lisbon.

At the airport you will find a number of car rental companies to choose from, like Sixt, Enterprise, Guerin, Hertz, or Europcar. Renting a car is not strictly necessary, though, as taxis or using ride share services such as Uber are also great options.
