Quick Visits
Faro/Old Town
Located in the south eastern region of Portgual, Faro boasts cobbled streets, a large cathedral, and dozens of small restaurants and cafes await. The so-called old town of Faro was built in 13th century, so there is a tremendous amount of history to be found. Faro is also the hometown of our dear Mr. Sergio Rosario!
Olhão
A quaint little fishing town with a lot to offer. From downtown you can take the ferry (Cais de Embarque de Olhão) across the bay to visit Ilha do Farol (Lighthouse Island) - an island where people live but you won't find a single vehicle.
Tavira
Offering a medieval castle that has city views. The Santa María do Castelo Church houses the tombs of 7 knights killed by the Moors.
Carvoeiro
All of the hotels we recommended are in or around here. There are a few lovely beaches, countless cafes and shops, and some active nightlife if you so desire.
